Let's hear from the desert & Florida guys?

I saw this weekend the LPGA cancelled a golf tournament in Orlando because of cold and wind, and the greens were frozen Sunday morning. Hope it warms up before I go down in April for the Cuda giveaway...

Let's hear from the desert & Florida guys?

So who are all the guys on here that can drive their cars mostly year round? Just thought of this when I saw Xcudame and Heminut's posts the other day... Must be nice to enjoy the these cars year round I would imagine? We have a foot of snow and won't see 20 degrees for another week here in...

Tried to raise my son right..

Back in the late 80's, me, my brother, 2 cousins, and 2 friends all had Ford Fiestas as winter beaters / daily cars. And we had 2 "spare" parts cars we shared... Funds were tight back then and the Fiesta was a good winter car, you would be surprised how well they went in the snow...

Why all the hype? 4 speeds

My wife drives a 6-speed, and occasionally a couple 4-speeds....

Why all the hype? 4 speeds

I have one of each, A833 and 727. I would say the 4-speed is much more fun to drive. Going up through the gears is great, but also selectively downshifting in town can be a blast as well. I think back in the day having 4 gears and shifting at the rpms you want was probably quicker than the...

    stereo

They are fairly pricey. My general rule of thumb is bite the bullet and get the good stuff, in a year or two you will forget what you paid for it.....

    stereo

If you want a stock look but the advantage of modern electronics with Bluetooth; check out classic car stereos. I put one in my car and it jams the Vanishing Point soundtrack from my phone pretty decent! https://www.classiccarstereos.com/SEARCH.html?f=1971>Plymouth>Barracuda

Followed me home just last week

So if I drive around with an empty trailer, I might have one too when I get home? That would be GREAT!

    Fender Tags, why?

Pretty much agree, if you have an all original car, you would want the fender tag and broadcast sheet, else, not that important. When I was 20 years old or so (almost 40 years ago), me and my brother swapped the motor in my cuda and redid the engine compartment. We didn't think it was important...
