Back in the late 80's, me, my brother, 2 cousins, and 2 friends all had Ford Fiestas as winter beaters / daily cars. And we had 2 "spare" parts cars we shared... Funds were tight back then and the Fiesta was a good winter car, you would be surprised how well they went in the snow...

My wife drives a 6-speed, and occasionally a couple 4-speeds....

Maybe an extra 1000 lbs, but 700HP moves it pretty well.......
