Seems pretty obvious there are at least 2 different shapes, so they can't all be E-body.
Looks like some have the slanted edge I'd expect, others seems square, which definitely isn't for E-body.
Unless it's an optical illusion.

No idea what's correct, but AC cars usually benefit with an idle solenoid.
Anti-Dieseling: When the ignition is turned off, the solenoid de-energizes and retracts, allowing the throttle to close fully.
Idle Maintenance: When active (key on), the solenoid plunger extends to hold the throttle...
Before you cut them off, check inside.
I believe the structure supporting the pedals use those bolts.
The whole support plate on the engine side, is for reinforcement.
