@Cpz71
I have found the area above the hood release broken often. Poorly adjusted latch handle, sticky latch or meat hands pulling against the grill while opening.
Happened to me getting an alignment. And I warned them, the office, the tech, "bend over to find and release the hood".
Back before...
I mixed up some paint.
A finger full on some clear tape to compare to a chip, ( 2 brands of color sample) looks pretty good. Still wet, could change ever so slighty when dry. Of course, its not a uniform thickness when wiped on.
I'll do a spray out. Then check outside when its not raining. The...
The door latch is fixed. You will have to adjust a hinge, probably the upper.
The door need to come in a bit too.
How is the fit to the fenders?
Remember, convertibles move around a bit. You can't run the gaps as tight as a hardtop.
Your latch and screws need to come out to remove the...
I have your answer, but you are not going to like it.
You have a diplomat cop car (F or M body) rear bar.
The giveaway was the taper on the bar toward eyelet. E body are straight to the end.
They are also shorter in that segment.
Also 1" narrower.
Orange bar is E.
Look deep into your pockets, and decide if you are a hemi kind of guy.
My machine shop, who have built many, told me not to. I could build several 440's, (nice ones, not stock) and a couple of 340's for the cost of an entry level stock hemi build.
That one, is going to be a full build.
But...
Have you ever seen an 80's to 90's camero that was pink on top, red on the bottom?
Red being the most expensive color had GM (ppg) make the formula using purple and orange. The purple component faded fast.
The glasurit formula for the same color used 3 different reds and black. Ground pigments...
@pschlosser
That is a 70 pattern bottom. Your comment about them being the same made me go look.
Why yes, nearly exactly the same. Hocus focus shows the coupe bottom having a little extra spring metal on the side.
Bottom of the frame seems the same.
Cleaner one coupe, dusty one conv.
This is...
As I've said before, the formulas don't matter if you don't have the toners.
Every brand has a different strength, and tone.
Here is my glasurit formula where
974 is black
60 is white
59 is magenta
135 is transparent red/brown.
I still have toners
To spare soneone the heartbreak of getting the wrong part, not 70 plymouth.
Inside hood release latch
Screw holes in top plate for later hood trigger.
73-4 B vertical support.
73 and 4 face bar and/or brackets do not interchange in any combination with 70-72.
The best you can do is drill new oblong holes in the bracket, and slide it back some.
I have these two. One on R has a crack in lens. One on left has some chrome defect.
Will come with nut/lock washer, and a bulb socket, no harness.
PM me if any interest.
Mine are 1000 rpm increments like these.
But maybe these will work for you.

Yes, I'm aware of the hole, throwing off the i.d. as 383.
1.5" throat depth, to the underside of the carb hold down. Throat depth is the same as my 71 340 base.
This has the 70 style carb bridge.
So I will leave it to the buyer to determine use.
383 with a high rise? Add feet for 340 supports...
Factory 4bbl base. 340 and 440 are the same height. For 340, you will need to add bracket for base support straps.
Full disclosure, someone drilled two1/4" holes to use a six bbl size lid. The center stud hold down bracket was rewelded, as the original resistance spot welds are prone to...
