    Oil priming question

You will/should feel a lot of resistance when the oil pressure builds up; also maybe plumb in a mechanical oil pressure gauge, temporarily, to confirm you have good pressure. I did a Magnum swap on my old Ramcharger, the factory gauge & sender always read low and was a concern. but the...

NEED FILLER NECK TUBE MOUNTING BOLT SIZES

Yes I used a gasket. I don’t remember the length. You are going to have to mock it up and see what you need.

I used #8 machine screws, with nyloc nuts.

NEED FILLER NECK TUBE MOUNTING BOLT SIZES

I will look at mine tomorrow and update, unless someone else knows for sure.

    Torsion bar delete

Remember, back when these cars were built they had bias ply tires which were crap for cornering. Good radial tires with a stiffer sidewall will expose the need for heavier T-bars and sway bars. I dont remember the brand, but I put new T-bars on my Challenger (went from 340 factory engine to...

    FOR SALE A true factory-reference, investment-grade 1970 Plymouth Barracuda – numbers-matching, California survivor

FYI, if you want to install a factory looking exhaust, the original mufflers were canisters and located b/t the rear axle and the rear valance WITH a bolt on heat shield on the bottom of the trunk floor. The correct exhaust tips attach directly to the muffler output. Fortunately this stuff is...

    FOR SALE A true factory-reference, investment-grade 1970 Plymouth Barracuda – numbers-matching, California survivor

It could have had dual exhaust, but it was two regular pipes dumping under the valance, but on a 318 car I dont think they would bother.

    FOR SALE A true factory-reference, investment-grade 1970 Plymouth Barracuda – numbers-matching, California survivor

I believe 1970 California built cars were not available with the dual exhaust through the valance. This could be another "dealer installed" item, but then the tips would be correct. Still a very nice car.

    Accessory Fitment on a Magnum

Other than the magnum timing cover not having a fuel pump provision (I have not seen Jegs) all the accessories will bolt up. Some year magnums had a balanced converter, some had a balanced flex plate, if you have a converter with weights on it , I would remove them and get a magnum balanced...

    Fitech EFI - Pretty good

I got it dialed in! Unfortunately I don't know what did it. I changed to cam 1, I reset learn everything, I changed my ACC pump to -5 and nothing seemed to have an effect. I checked my timing and retarded it 2 degrees, power was down... I checked for vacuum leaks and didn't find any. I...

    Fitech EFI - Pretty good

Othere than the bogging, it runs and drives pretty well. Cruises with an afr in the 14s, but I'm only getting about 7 mpg! It doesn't smell rich or anything. I have reset the fuel learn, without much difference.

ATK vs Blueprint small block crate engines?

A big part of the value of your car is that it’s a original 340 car (even a 73). A 360 engine is a downgrade, in my lowly opinion. If it were me, I would just rebuild the 340 with some internal upgrades like lighter pistons, roller rockers, etc. If the heads are cracked, keep them in storage...

    Fitech EFI - Pretty good

Hi, I have the 30003 unit on my Ramcharger (stock 360 magnum). Everything is good except I have a rich bogging issue under load, from about 1200-2000 rpm. AFR goes to 10.5. and bogs hard. My Accelerator pump is set at -15.0. (Regular and fast acc, 170). The bog gets worse with more acc pump...

    Electric Ignition Conversion Kit Options

I mounted the ecu on the bottom of the battery tray. It gets good airflow there and is near the battery. I ran the wires (inside some black heat shrink) along the headlight harness and it is almost unnoticeable.
