I have seem lots of stainless bumper bolts for sale for my 70 Barracuda that are 3/8" x 16, but I have heard that the "proper" bolt is a "7/16" x 14. Tried to find details in the parts manual but no luck. Can someone enlighten me as to what is correct?

I have a split bench seat for a 70 Barracuda that is missing the seat backs. There also appears to be no lever/button to fold the seat forward. You can just move it. What am I missing? Is there something that should be holding the seat back in place? Sorry I have no pictures at the moment. TYIA.
