    Correct water pump question

    I am in need of an original water pump for a 1970 Dodge Challenger 383 magnum. The one I have part # 2843290 seems to be about a 1/4” short of lining up with the main shaft pulley and alternator. I can only think this is the incorrect part for the engine. Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Carburetor Question 1970 Challenger numbers matching 383 R/T manual sublime NOE code

    According to a previous thread, this engine probably came with a Holley. It was built I Cali. There is no build sheet! The build date was late September. It appears it could have come with a Holley 4367 A, Or a 4217a. What it the most likely carb? Or do I even have the correct information...
