i am in need of the latch and bracket that bolts to the underside of the deck lid . when i got my 74 barracuda the deck lid was missing . the lower latch is all there … new ( aftermarket) or used , not real important just need one … or if you no of a vendor where i can get it please reply ….
my car came with no deck lid . i did get one but now i need the bracket that keeps it latched , not sure of it’s correct name . the part in question bolts to the understood deck lid …. does anybody know of a supplier i can purchase one ?
is it worth it ? that’s a tuff question to answer! maybe impossible to answer….i’m going thru a similar project now . it’s challenging! but worth it to me , it might not be worth it to others ….a good thing in the end it will be worth more then my investment, but even if i am close i’ll have...
less rust the better , the good news is the replacement parts for that car are plentiful. if you can afford a more solid car that’s to your advantage. even better buy one that’s done … i send you a pm …
can’t tell by looking at it but we’re progressing nicely. most is the panels welding now completed! finally. a little touch up welds on front inner fenders . then we ready to fit / hang front fenders , valence, headlight buckets. i’ll probably look at the front bumper fit as i want to locate...
this seems logical. i can’t see them as transport mounts . i’ll have to look at the original 318( on a pallet) see what the mounts looked like . been so long i don’t recall! question comes to mind , are they going to get along with a 383 ?!
unfortunately that’s all ( shaker style) amd is showing available at this time . not sure they are getting flat or rally hoods in . i would be fairly confident pulling trigger on amd hood the other mfg’s i wonder about ….
