Hey Money Pit, yes I bought these stops as well. Had to cut them down to get the latch to liock too The original metal spring stops are hard to find and I don’t know anyone who repops or sells them. Maybe someone else can chime in. 🏝
Hey Grand Coupe, I had the same issue with the new repop rear moldings too. I started screws at lower rear and worked up to middle. Then started the front lower screw and worked up. I had to apply some pressure and a C-Clamp to hold the upper portion in while putting the last screws in. Also use...
Sixpactogo is correct if you’re going for the factory OEM original fuel separator setup. The Amazon filter suggestion I sent to you has the 3/8 carb and the 1/4 return nipple. and work great if your just looking to set up a return line. Hope info helps you. 🏝
I had the same issue and my barracuda was vapor locking when it got hot. I replaced the inline fuel filter between the mechanical fuel pump and carb with one that has two exit nipples. One nipple for fuel line to the carb and one for a return line back to the fuel tank. I ran a return line back...
Hey Kansas, that’s another tough part to find. Try Classic Industries type in part # RB2691201. This may have the cover you’re looking for included in the package. Regards Rob 🏝
Hey Kansas, really happy to help. Those clips are difficult to acquire. That’s what makes FEBO a Cool site for us to assist each other. There are some standout guys on this site like, Cuda Hunter, Moparleo and you just to name a few. 🏝
Good eye Jeff K. I noticed that after I posted the photo. Old eyes, the photo clearly shows the hairline. So when I do sell them it will be in person with full disclosure as it can be repaired. 🏝
I had them blasted to see what I was working with. Very impressed with the condition these manifolds were in. They were in a shipping container since 1980. Will have them Ceramic coated next. Ready for the coming Spring/Fall Fling in Van Nuys. Thanks again for the info on these L-2 Manifolds 🏝
Hey Kansas, PC-11 this stuff is phenomenal. Mix it , apply it, you can tape over it to hold it in place. 24 hours later take the tape off, sand, and paint. You won’t even have to remove the part. Thick too so no runs or sags. Amazon has it too🏝
Oh I see what you were referring to in the photo. That’s a piece of rubber that came out of the Whisker channel. It does look like a crack in the photo. Thanks for the close inspection! 🏝
Hey Terrywalker, must look like it photos, but no splits or cracks in my door panels. They are pretty close to being perfect. A Few light scuffs on them.🏝
Yes! Yes! Yes! Thank you all for input & ideas on mounting the door panel whiskers. Excudame, the KY helped tremendously. So here are a few photos to paint the install picture. I used the lubricant and a wooden wedge to pop them in with a rubber mallet. Also I started at the curve because there...
Hi Chally, Yes the barracuda Whiskers have a curve on one end as well. I take it that you vertically slid the whisker channel straight down along the panel standing on end by hand and tapped it securely in place? Man that had to be difficult without bending/denting the Whisker due to the...
Okay, those are some good ideas. I’m going to try your idea Doubleyellow to include Excudame’s KY application, if I don’t get anymore input from anyone who has dealt with this issue. I will keep you posted on the outcome regardless. TY 🏝
