    Thanks for the quick reply. I probably need to clean the tumblers. The car had some restoration work prior to my purchase in 2008 which could explain the hole in the collar. I want to get a copy of the build sheet from Galen.

    Help. To remove the ignition key from my 70 Challenger R/T with a 727 and console shifter. I need to twist the collar (I do not know the proper term) in front of the key to remove it. This is a recent occurrence. Is there a permanent fix? Also, the collar has the hole for the column mounted...

    440 OVERHEATS

    Pops, check if the fan is turning. I recently had an overheating problem with my 70 Chally with a similar radiator and electric fan. The fan relay broke and rather than spend the time and effort tracking sown the problem I replaced the electric fan with a mechanical fan, problem solved.

    Hello from Washington state

    I did that when the e brake did not work and a small Japanese Maple tree dinged the hood. The ding has since been hammered out. My wife like to drive the car and do an occasional burnout.
