    Before you remove it tape or mark around the outside of the hinge to make alignment easier if it slips a bit. Masking tape works well for this. The automotive paint tape.

    Same with mine. I changed from 3.91's to 3.23's and the thing got faster. I really should have done 2.76's with 450 TQ at the wheel. Think of the fun you had though.
