If you haven’t done anything yet try John Beck at Vintage Hotrod Design and Fab in Chico California. DYNO on site. I have been involved in a couple of 58 392 hemi builds for Engine Masters there. Very knowledgeable!
Hours have been spent refurbishing the old grill. Using parts from broken grills, painting, sanding, making broken and missing tabs. Super glue is your friend. That grill looks promising. Show us more pics when you get a chance.
FeelFirm shows their 1.18 bar at a 375#. I have a hollow 1.25” Hellwig bar now. Other than the feel firm, the only other bars I can find in stock were 1.14s.
I have driven an E body with the 1.18 and figured I would go with something a little stiffer. I haven’t dropped in the engine yet. Which headers are you using?
I have a 71 Challenger with a 440, power steering, power brakes and AC. I am getting ready to go through the suspension and I will use the car on a road course and autocross. Bergman has some 1.14 bars in stock and Firm Feel has one set of 1.18 lefts. Would like something in the 1.2-1.25...
The A and B body forums seem to have a lot more stuff going on in regards to racing. I too am close to retiring(probably should be) and agree with you that there is a lot of Mopar talent here. I picked up a 71 Challenger 5 years ago and have just now started the body work. I got this project...
Thanks for the welcome! It will actually be under going new paint soon Along with a new vinyl top. Still looking for a good front grill and figuring out what I want to do on the engine/trans.
New to the site. I have a 71 Challenger. Originally with a 318, auto, power brakes, AC, and vinyl top. Have had it about 3 years now. Getting ready to do some upgrading. Some items being done are the interior, paint, brakes, rear end.
