    Drivers side A/C ducting

There is supposed to be a very stiff clip at the top of the junction between the two, attached to the vent, You can sort of see it in the pictures. Having said that, I kicked mine off yesterday ! I may fiberglass bond a tab and srew it to the bottom edge of the dash. If I do , I will post a pic.

    AC "un-delete" on a 73 challenger with a 360

I had a similar situation with my 340 Cuda. I went to a junkyard that had a mid 70's Volare with a V8 and air. My 340 has Edelbrock performer with Holley Avenger so I did not expect a perfect match for brackets, but I took every thing from the firewall forward from the Volare, all braces and...

    Drivers side A/C ducting

It was a more time than money thing. Kind of a PITA on the side that turns up to the vent. Lots of trial and error. If i can do it anyone can. I made a mold from blue insulating foam glue together with upholstry spray glue. Make templates to match the ends and sand away at the foam until it is...

    Drivers side A/C ducting

I also came up missing the drivers side duct from the distribution(?) block under the radio to the drivers dash vent. A friend encouraged me to make one from fiberglass. Here are some pics. it came out pretty nice.

    Drivers side A/C ducting

I recently solved an old problem with the interior of my '73 340 'Cuda. A previous owner had stripped all of the A/C parts from the engine bay and several from the interior. I solved the engine bay side by pirating all the brackets and compressor ( including the proprietary fittings) from a mid...

    Re boot

I installed driver side header. The flat collector makes it real easy, it just drops straight down. The header collector is positioned to easily send exhaust pipe in front of steering link....this is not what I want so I am taking it to local shop to fab a head pipe to transition to "old"...

    Turn signal Puzzle

Chryco, I drove again working on brake issue and noticed that though left side does flash, it is pretty slow, so I will put in new flasher.

    Turn signal Puzzle

I have started bringing my car out of mothballs and encountered a puzzling turn signal issue. The left turn signal works inside and out the right turn signal lights the dash light and both front and rear external lights, but no flash. The emergency flasher flashes all four corners and the dash...

    Re boot

I built this 1973 340 cuda 13 yrs ago and drove about 1200 miles on nice days, driver side header got the lower front tubes scraped open and I smelled like exhaust every time I drove, so I just didn't drive it. Built my son a 1968 Cougar xr-7 for HS and never got back to it. Hoping to find...
