    A/C solenoid

If your car came with an anti run on/diesel solenoid I would tap into that source. I recently installed a Vintage air system and with a 440 set to idle at 900 rpm haven't needed a solenoid.

Vintage Air and 440 6 pak

I used the BPE 4710 bracket that works with the 440 source water pump housing. The compressor cannot sit any lower on my application. I was looking at the shorty compressor and heard it doesn't perform as well as the standard one. The 2 belt alternator works well but I had a serious problem with...

Here is a pic of the pulley off the car. The break is at a point of the sharpest bend. The break looks like the edge of a small saw blade.

    Broken water pump pulley

The pitman arm comment was related to how hard the steering was and at my age with arthritis and various muscle issues I was lucky enough to steer the car with no power. I have to believe the factory built these cars engineered with some safety features such as a steering belt failure. Theses...

    Sad Cuda.... HELP DIAGNOSE

I would check the coil for any oil coming out the top where the black meets the red body. Msd coils are known to leak when laying on their side. I think MSD resolved that issue on their newer coils.
