Your vin will always start with JS23 always,, but dont forget you could get a 340 and 383 in the JH23 and JH27 non R/T hardtops and converts .. As for your hood pins it was an option ,, I,ve seen hood pins on flat reg hoods on barracudas and challengers . hope this helps ....- hemikev
