Other than the magnum timing cover not having a fuel pump provision (I have not seen Jegs) all the accessories will bolt up. Some year magnums had a balanced converter, some had a balanced flex plate, if you have a converter with weights on it , I would remove them and get a magnum balanced...
I got it dialed in! Unfortunately I don't know what did it.
I changed to cam 1, I reset learn everything, I changed my ACC pump to -5 and nothing seemed to have an effect. I checked my timing and retarded it 2 degrees, power was down...
I checked for vacuum leaks and didn't find any.
I...
Othere than the bogging, it runs and drives pretty well. Cruises with an afr in the 14s, but I'm only getting about 7 mpg! It doesn't smell rich or anything. I have reset the fuel learn, without much difference.
A big part of the value of your car is that it’s a original 340 car (even a 73). A 360 engine is a downgrade, in my lowly opinion.
If it were me, I would just rebuild the 340 with some internal upgrades like lighter pistons, roller rockers, etc. If the heads are cracked, keep them in storage...
Hi, I have the 30003 unit on my Ramcharger (stock 360 magnum). Everything is good except I have a rich bogging issue under load, from about 1200-2000 rpm. AFR goes to 10.5. and bogs hard. My Accelerator pump is set at -15.0. (Regular and fast acc, 170). The bog gets worse with more acc pump...
I mounted the ecu on the bottom of the battery tray. It gets good airflow there and is near the battery. I ran the wires (inside some black heat shrink) along the headlight harness and it is almost unnoticeable.
That sucks! I used a small shop, only two guys, between my house and work. I would stop in a couple of times a week just to see if there was any progress. I tried very hard not to be a nuisance, and it worked out so well that I brought another car in, and had an appointment for a third when...
The pump itself is the same, it may have different pressure output. I did this mod on two different cars, and is well worth it.

I use ospho a lot. The directions say to rinse it off, which I don’t do because I get flash rust. Instead, after a normal application, I wipe it down with water that has a little ospho mixed in; I don’t let it dry on the surface because it leaves a sticky residue. On an exterior panel I...
I would do #2 first, I think it’s the most likely problem and may save you some work.
I believe the pick up threads into the block, no way for it to fall out. It could be clogged with some type of debris though, like from a failed filter or vandalism. Id also cut open the old filter to see if...
Was it working before?
If not try this; unclip the rod from the handle to the mechanism at both ends and remove it, reinstall it the opposite way and try it. The rod looks symmetrical, but it’s not. And the rod can be bent a little to make it longer / compensate for wear.
Only a couple of things could cause zero oil pressure all of a sudden. I would mark the edge of the distributor and pull it out, followed by the cam gear/oil pump shaft to see if it’s broken, thus no oil pressure.
And have you pulled the valve covers? I would look for a bent/broken pushrod and...
