I think that it looks pretty good. The 70 and 71 styling looks better to me than the 72-74 did. I did a similar trick to a '73 I had years ago.

I like the rallye wheels better but it is YOUR car to do as you wish. This car IS different. I have seen many 72-74 cars with 70-71 grilles and taillights but yours is the first that I have seen go the other way. Nice color. Welcome to the site.
