    Rear License Plate Relocation.

I had issues with my Challenger with the flip cap in CA too. The nozzles in my area didn't need to seal, they just had to be pushed up for the pump to work. To fuel mine I had to hold the seal back, and just point the nozzle down the pipe. I couldn't do it without getting fuel on me and the...

Wilwood Disc on a 73 Challenger

Hydro boost was my answer, but that's not the only one. The pedal ratio on bower brake cars is less than manual brake cars, and I think that contributed some oddities. My adapter is nothing but aluminum plate machined to fit, that was specific to the mustang master and booster, that has a...

    Aftermarket T/a Hood?

I noticed the bowing after it was parked for a year while i was gone, at the time it had factory steel hood springs, and a noticeable bow when i returned. After that i found repop light springs and have always left it open, and now that bow is gone. As for the water, the inner structure on...

I'm about to go to bed, but i just checked wikipedia (we all know it's right...) and they list it, as one year only. Sorry, expert I am not, on a new hand jam of the numbers your spot on.

check the heads, I had 250 castings as 72cc. If your at 88 then your right on at 10.5:1, but with iron heads your bumping your head on the ceiling. A slightly thicker gasket won't hurt if you get bad gas, and the longer duration will bring it down even more. Sounds like a healthy combo, good...

that sounds like a good idea. Unless my math sucks, and I'm tired so it might, I calculate you at 12.4:1 static with a .020 crush. That's not pump fuel territory, so a larger gasket to drop static, and a longer duration to drop your dynamic compression is a good idea unless your wanting to pay...

    Aftermarket T/a Hood?

I'm using Year Ones hood and springs, they use the steel mesh grill, what seems like a lot of reinforcing and inner structure but still have some bowing if the hood is closed for long periods (months, worse in hot TX weather vs Colorado). My neighbors think it always broke because I always...

Best way to delete ac on a small block???

You don't have to change pulleys, it's close, but I'm running AC pulleys on mine without AC. The sweet spot is a 45 inch belt (15450), shorter or longer and it will run into the underside of the water pump.

Welcome from Texas! What were you running in the 440 and what did you think of it? Also, how much lift can the heads take before they get into guides? I'm only asking as I have been surprised by how tall the guides are in some heads, and if it's apart pulling a couple springs to check...

Wilwood Disc on a 73 Challenger

Your situation sounds similar to mine when I "upgraded" to SN95 mustang discs, basically a home brewed 13" system similar to what Dr. Diff sells, serious props to him by the way, he tried to help me sort my junk even though I didn't buy it from him! Anyhow, my pedal felt fine in normal braking...

What Car was made for you? Quiz for the fun of it!

Ferrari? I'm with jimbyr, I'll take it and sell it, that would fund my actual dream car. I don't know why BMW gets such a bad wrap, I daily an 04 330ci 6spd with 185k on the clock. Parts are cheap, well designed and easy to work on, good mileage, its a perfect daily. I gotta drive something...

USAF, MSgt, 18 years and counting. Afghanistan (Advisor, 3 ID and 2 MEF), Iraq (long enough to explain to the Army that their "secured" airfield wouldn't work), tons of general middle easts, couple Africa trips, Korea, Japan and some counter drug in south America. Currently a "Developmental...

    Hello from San Antonio TX

Thanks for the praise. I'll have to build a thread for her, I'm a hobby fabricator/machinist, so I've built a lot of custom bits to keep costs down and maintain oe parts availablity. The headers are a long shot, TTI and Hedman used to make them, key being USED to. They have since discontinued...

    Hello from San Antonio TX

Afternoon all, I'm John, and she's Wanda. Wanda has been the other woman since 2007, bought her as a complete heap needing almost everything. Took three years to get the metal done, and everything good and bad on her is my fault. I paid for the windshield to be replaced, and for yearly state...
