I thought about something to keep the nut from backing off. Blue locktight, then finger tight.
Thank you, I hope this is the last you will hear from me, about regulators anyway.
Good news, well I hope. Check out the pictures. I checked the bottom inside of the door and found plastic washer with a threaded hole. I barely can get my hand inside the opening to put the threaded washer back on the screw. But once its on the window rolls up and down. Nothing on the washer...
I removed the dynamat sound deadener from the openings in the door panel. Thought maybe I could free the regulator up, but no luck, it binds up when I try to raise uo the window. Looks like a new regulator is needed.
Checked on line classic Industries has them, buy I spoke to a local Moparts...
Hard to tell where the opening are, I ll try to find a picture or diagram of the door frame, don't want to remove any more than I need to. You guys are great, thanks again.
Got the door panel off, stuck on the lock knob. Only to find another surprise. Man that stuff sticks.
I need to get the deadener off where the openings are, I think in the lower part of the inner panel, anybody got pics or info on location of openings?
