The main thing with the FiTech is to follow installation instructions to the letter. Take your time and it will work great like mine does. It's been sitting all winter and I can go in the garage and it'll fire right up. Make sure you have clean power and grounds
73 Challenger 440 727 automatic. Converted to FiTech Fuel Injection 2 years ago. Currently rebuilding front end. Plan on new leaf springs and shocks in the near future.
Before you tear out the vb, elevate the rear and see if it will shift under light throttle. Also make sure the spring that pulls the kick down lever is pulling it to the front of the vehicle not towards the back
Your best bet would be to take it to a transmission shop and have it diagnosed. There are so many variables as to what could be wrong. It could be servo, governor gasket under supp on the back of case, fluid level, valve body...and the list goes on and on. Without knowing what you did during...
