The clips rest in a little groove under that lip. That will be part of your challenge to get them to release. Pry your clip apart underneath to help release it. Being very careful, use a block of wood and mallet to gently tap it loose. But...be very careful of course.

Have a restored 72 challenger, 340, top banana in color and am working on a 71 convertible challenger that completely torn down right now.
