I haven't yet seen another or heard of anyone that has this combo. The stripe color itself is rare. I had to contact 3m for the closest match possible and being florescent, it wasn't easy. It does take on a yellowish tint in the sun at different angles tho. Challenger Gary cut the kit for me but...

Thanks guys! That was my thoughts. The stripe just pops and every time I get it out in the sun, it just stuns me. I have no certain way to describe it. I got to get some pics in the dark yet.

71 RT 340 TX9 with V6J stripes. Back from hiding.

The car is orange and an aquaintance needed some help with the tag so I reached out to you but I was looking at the ev2 code which says orange for Dodge and tor red for Plymouth so that was confusing since I really don't know for sure. It's in Indiana as far as I know and he is storing it for...

Can anyone decide this? It's right before the last 6 vin #s

IM trying to decode this tag for someone. It's on a 72 cuda. Looks like H28 or H2B right before the vin sequence. Also what the U stands for. I can't find anything on it.

71 Challenger rt 340 4 speed I think. Hey, can you decide this tag? H28 or H2B maybe. Also the U. It's on a 72 cuda and can't seem to find anything on it. Thanks!

71 RT 340 TX9 with V6J stripes. Back from hiding.

Very nice. I've seen green with green and thought it didn't look right but the orange on orange is very cool. That was exactly where I planned on placement. Thanks!

71 RT 340 TX9 with V6J stripes. Back from hiding.

I haven't installed the hood decal yet but this is definitely a high impact combo. I figured I would post some more pics after a small cruise today. It was t shirt weather here in Pa and I was overdue for a ride. If anyone has the correct placement for the rt hood decal, please post it. I'm...

What was the color of that other car? Was it black?

71 RT 340 TX9 with V6J stripes. Back from hiding.

Build sheet is only a few shreds left, which was under the passenger seat. No others found. All body and motor/ trans #s checked out. I went off the fender tag which is original to the car. I was very happy with the outcome. None of that was known when I bought it and I had different build ideas...

Thank you Gary, It took a while until I was ready for them but they look great. Glad that you were able to help me out. I appreciate it! I'm going to post more pics when I get the time to finish. Should be real soon.

71 RT 340 TX9 with V6J stripes. Back from hiding.

I had posted it when I first got it. It was autumn bronze when the previous owner bought it in 74 and stayed that color until I researched it and changed it to the OEM colors. Not sure why it was ever repainted that early in its life but it wasn't wrecked because it was sanded to bare metal and...

How much power loss can happen with air filter restriction?

Get a filter with a top plate. Edelbrock has them and it should be enough for the big block. It's amazing how much air they can gulp. I had a foam triangle type once, and that motor sucked the whole thing right thru it. Gone!

    Cleaning panels

Try wipe new pads. Won't stay that way forever but it should look a lot better.

    Heater core

The aftermarket ones usually won't work right out of the box. I had to grind the ends to fit the box and re drill a hole but that's what you get these days.

71 RT 340 TX9 with V6J stripes. Back from hiding.

After working the bugs out and a few break in miles, I finally got the stripe kit out and got 1 side done. Going to do the other side tomorrow and get more pics outside. Been a 4 year battle with this one but, I'm loving it.
