Hi! I have ordered a set of Trick Flow 190 heads for the small block. Trick Flow recommends their special head bolts or studs. However I already have a set of ARP bolts for w2 heads, which also fits most other aluminum heads like Edelbrock or MP. From pictures the Trick Flow heads look similar...

Yes, that must be the right way. I see now theres actually a gasket under the boot. It doesn't make sense to have the gasket on top of the carpet... Thanks!

Thanks for being let in! I'm living in Sweden, imported a rusty Challenger -72 a few years ago. Almost finished with the restoration process now! I have some previous experience from A-bodies and have done a lot of wrenching on the LA small blocks and 904/727 automatics. /Magnus
