Here is a restored 1970 & 1971 Factory Air Cleaner.
Restoration was started on a very nice air cleaner. No welding repairs or filler work done here!
The entire assembly was degreased, then glass bead blasted, then cleaned again.
The entire outside of the air cleaner has been textured powder coated. Looks OE. (As most are spray bombed wrinkle finish) And that texture is in my opinion way too bold and rough looking.
The inside of the air cleaner has been pained in Black epoxy paint. A new Yellow air cleaner decal has been affixed in the correct location. The orange 340 pie pan is in very nice condition. (Hard to find now a days) The lid also has a New seal/gasket installed. So it’s ready to go!
