For sale is a rebuilt 1970 Carter AVS. Carb number is 4937s with a date code of M3. Application is for a 340 with automatic transmission and ECS. Has the correct Delco Remy idle solenoid. Carb has been sitting on a shelf since the late 80's. Put a kit in it along with a new choke pull off, a new insulated base gasket (not pictured) new gasket for the air cleaner, new jets & metering rods and orange springs along with new flat covers for metering rods & pistons. Carb has been converted to the 2 step metering rods. It's been set up like a 650 CFM Edelbrock AVS2. Will include the other new 4 sets of springs to tune to your needs. $325 plus shipping. Willing to consider selling the carburetor separate from the solenoid & bracket. Separately $250 plus shipping for the carburetor & $125 plus shipping for the solenoid & bracket.
