1970 Dodge Challenger. Project car. A clean MT title. Needs sheet metal work. Originally a 318 V8, auto (727). Now has a 340 V8 (with a steel crank, forged pistons, J heads with 2.02 and 1.88 valves, with a factory 4 barrel manifold and 340 exhaust manafolds). Bucket seats, center counsel, nice door panels for front and rear, rear seat. Nice grill and bumpers, 323 geared rear end Posi tract. Two hoods, One a fiberglass T/A hood and a flat hood. A total of 4 doors, a rear trunk deck lid. An extra dash that has a crack, A 727 auto trany out of a 1976 Dodge Truck. A spare 318 out of a 1969 Dodge 2 1/2 ton dump truck (which I have been told has a high nickel content) a split back front seat out of a 1971 dodge Charger. An A/C control box. Numerous other parts and fasteners. Front disk breaks. Front and rear sway bars and brackets.

New parts: New inner fender for passenger side. New weather striping for doors. New Mopar back valve covers with gaskets.

parts that I know are missing: passenger side glass, Front glass, gas tank/lines, exhaust (from the exhaust manifold to the tip), hood springs, carburetor, air cleaner.

the 340 was built, I heard it run, but that was 20 years ago. The guy I bought it from ran in a drag car and he said it put out 400 horse. For street proposes I had the guy take out the solid cam and put in a hydraulic cam. I open the heads one day to look at it and there seemed to be some carbon build up. I am not a engine builder so I am not sure what this means. I want to be as upfront as I can be. Yes, the exhaust manifold and valve covers come with the engine as well as the gaskets and the fasteners (the valve covers are new, never been used) the 4 barrel intake manifold comes with it as well. For the 3000 I will also throw in the 727 auto trany if you want it. It came out of a 76 truck so the torque converter will need to be changed out, as I have told. Were are you located at? I could possibly meet you somewhere closer to ID. Thanks.
