I got a 1973 Barracuda with dark blue/bright blue interior. I ordered a dash pad for my car from ultimate rides but my question to you guys is what is the correct color for the dash? First thing that came to mind was bright blue but the more I look at the stock dash behind the emblem I think it may be medium blue metallic. What do you guys think?

Thanks for the pics. To me the bottom of the dash looks like a medium blue metallic. I think its kinda weird how its 2 different colors. Do you guys think that the whole dash may have been medium blue metallic?

Those pictures are 100% correct for a 1970. It looks like the dash frame is painted to match the dash pad. The darker blue is only on the left/right lower dash trim. What surprises me is that the A-pillar trim is the darker color. I think the A-pillar trim is made from the same plastic as the kick panels and door panels. I would have thought they would have been the same color. Like I said, I don't know if a 73 interior would have been different.

I used to have a 73 Challenger with blue interior but it was a basket case. I don't think I have any pictures of the dash on that car.

I'll do a Google search and see it I can find some pictures of a 73.
