WTB 440 headers

I’ve got a set of Hooker super comp’s, ceramic coated. I’ll have check, I think they’re 2” primary tubes. They are new, never been run, but, they are scratched and dinged a little. If you’re interested, let me know and I’ll dig ‘em out of storage, snap some photos and get the Hooker p/n. Might take me a day or 2 to get to them, l’m super busy this week.

They’re going to need a little help to make ‘em look really nice. Doesn’t matter how they look, your 440 will run great with ‘em bolted on. And they are 1-7/8” O.D. Primary tubes.

How do these compare to TTI and effect the starter, steering, etc...?

Not sure, never had a set TTI’s in my hands. You will always have to makes mods to make headers fit, some minor, some off the chart. In part to header fit I bolted up a Borgeson steering box and pump, also a Power Miser adjustable mini starter. Even then I had to modify the starter. All that to accommodate a set of Headman’s Elite ceramic coated on a ‘70 383 Cuda. Probably should have spent the big $$ for the TTI’s, best of luck with your Hot Rod.

OK, wasn't sure from your earlier post if you actually installed them. I'm thinking of the path of least
resistance anyway.... ie a shorty header
