70 Barracuda radio antenna question

Mine is back there because I put it back there, I always thought the rear mount looked better. 70Chall440 is right though, they only came that way from the factory on the TA's and AAR's. The reason they were moved to the rear on those models was because of the fiberglass hoods. The fiberglass hoods didn't block radio interference from the engine electricals like the steel hoods did.

Back in the 60's Chevrolet put chromed metal covers on the distributors and the plug wires where they exited the distributor on Corvettes for the same reason.
