Hello all! I have an AAR Cuda with a failing brake booster and I'm having trouble figuring out which booster is correct to replace it with.

Year One has a brake booster that is for 70-74 E-Body cars here: https://www.yearone.com/Product/challenger-cuda/mre70[1]

From what I'm reading however there may be a different Booster for the AAR/TA vehicles.

I found this on ebay but is much more expensive: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-BENDIX...ries&hash=item3380d41800&vxp=mtr#ht_854wt_656[2]
The one on the car at the moment has 18268 stamped on it. The car also has front Disk brakes.

Any ideas on which one is correct? I would rather spend the lesser amount but I don't want a part that isn't correct or won't do the same job.

Thank you for your time!

Get it rebuilt.

If yours is an original you should just get it rebuilt. Try http://www.boosterdeweyexchange.com/

They did an excellent job on mine for a great price. I had a 1971 only Midland-Ross booster, it was a broken, rust pitted, piece of junk. In fact I threw it on my junk pile and then retrieved it after seeing replacements were around $600. I did not have them replate mine because of the rust pits; this saved me a few bucks and then I painted it.
