Challenger flat hood shaker hood conversion bracing? still available?

I was going to see if the underhood bracing for the shaker conversion to a flat Challenger hood? I know it was a few years ago but I have not been able to find the bracing? Also I know I can buy a fiberglass hood for $600.00 plus shipping off Ebay or a steel hood for $750.00 plus shipping, I already bought a Shaker bubble for $100.00 I am going to make the baseplate and shaker grilles myself custom, plus I don't have a flat steel Challenger hood anyway and I have found used decent hoods for $175.00,
add the time it takes me to cut and fab the bracing plus the cost of the bracing and time finishing out with filler and primer, I have a feeling I would be better off just sticking the fiberglass shaker hood on it!!

That's if you're going to bill yourself for the time...


That's one of the wonderful things about working on your own stuff. Labor's cheap!
