I have a couple of engines that I got when I bought my Challenger and figured I may as well post them on here since neither of them are the original for my car. One is a '70 383 which I have no history on other than it was the engine that was in the Challenger when my dad bought it. The VIN on the block is 0D210XXX. The stampings on the top pad are F383, 2 10, R. Does anyone know what this motor might be? I will probably sell it soon locally if I don't find it's original owner. The other engine is a '70 440 HP2 that is currently in my car. The story I got on it is that it came out of a 'Cuda somewhere in California. The VIN is difficult to read since it's still in the car and the bottom half of the first two digits are gone but it appears to be 0E126XXX. The first two may be 0F. This motor will probably be around for a long time if it isn't claimed by it's original owner. I have no intention of selling it otherwise. If the numbers match what you are looking for give me the last 3 digits. I won't give them away but I will be fair on the price.
