looking for 71 340 4 speed distributor part number 3656151. Thanks for any help

My understanding is that 3656151 is an early electronic distributor unit? What is in the engine currently?
There was a dual point distributor listed in the parts book for a 1971 340 engine, 3438522.
Not an expert on this; electronic ignition became available in late 1971?

Yes from what I understand 4 speed cars went first around 5/13? mine was scheduled build of 5/26/71

Just as a sidebar note; Bill Rolik (BRE Motorsports) sells a reproduction distributor number tag for 3656151. You could add the tag to your current distributor until you find the correct unit. Just a thought. Bill Rolik Enterprises - N.O.S., Reproduction, and Replacement Chrysler Parts

Just sold on, rare bird for a original. Took three months to find a half decent core.
