I just received my Hagarty renewal yesterday .. it went up exactly 10%. I can live with that.

State Farm does have a pretty good vintage plane. My '78 New Yorker and a '70 Challenger R/T valued at $50k is $360 per yr, zero comp, full tort. When I first insured the R/T 8 yrs ago I valued it at $60k and got a letter from State Farm corporate that $50k was the max but a few yrs ago someone on here also had State Farm and his was covered for $70 or $75 and he lived in the same state, PA. I forget what they were charging him but the agent just told me the other day they basically insure it for whatever you say the value is. Didn't work in my case... Multi policy discounts and all that also apply...

I had American Collectors for many years before moving to Hagerty. It may have changed, but at the time, AC was very restrictive about parade/show usage and annual mileage driven whereas Hagerty has no such limitations. I ran into trouble with AC denying payment on a minor accident because I could not prove I was on my way to/from a show. They may have won the battle, but lost a 20-year customer as a result.

My advice is to make sure you check the fine print for what you are getting for your money.
