Headliner trim texture question

Does the pebble texture come off when you strip the headliner trim that goes above the door glass? If so, how can it be textured again?

Not normally its in the metal sandblasting or wire brushing will remove it quickly use paint stripper don't paint too heavily or it will dull the details

There's a bit of rust to remove. I have one piece soaking in Evapo-Rust.

I'll use paint stripper and paint.
