Hi my first question is I have a 74 challenger,Im putting in a 67 charger rear end so I can get new 15x10 rims,Ok what backspacing would I need to order my new wheels with? And whats the biggest baddest tire can I run with that combo?? Any help would be so much appreciated, thanks.I'd love to see a pic of someones car with that size wheels and tires on the rear...Awsome thanks again.

Your spring location has more to do with the width of the rim than the housing. Are they relocated?

I sold some 18x10s to a fellow (same width so same math) that had 5" backspace (-13mm offset) to use with his B-body rear. They fit fine with the narrower rear. I'd assume that's what you'd be looking for now.

Hmmm thats interesting,my springs aren't relocated though. I think 15x10 are what I want,I like rodlights real well,so If I ordered 15x10s with 5" backspacing that would work?

Well, that means that with that rear they'll tuck under the sheetmetal. The rear springs may have to be relocated inwards. I'm running 9" wide rims with 5" BS, but I'm running a completely stock suspension and rear end, and they are tight. Those 10s you want will be another inch in (about) so you may need to research a spring kit from Dr. Diff or mancini.

What size tire should I run with the 15x10s with 5" backspacing with the 67 charger rear end?

enclosed are some pics of the 18x10s on my old challenger...

You just may get away with the room...

as for tire size, a 275-295 wide tire will be right at home on that 15x10 of yours.
