hood scoop inserts...stripped screws

I am looking to remove my hood inserts and paint them red. The driver side screws are stripped...1-any idea how to remove w/out damaging the paint. 2-where can I get replacement screws?

what is striped the philips head or the threads! if it's the philips head i have had good luck using valve grinding compound work a little into the head put your screwdriver into it wiggle back and forth you can feel the grit working put some pressure to it and hope for the best. i did not beleave it would work at first but an old timer proved it to me

it might be the threads, I can get the screwdriver in, and see the head spinning, but not coming out.

I removed it. I had to pull the scoop off the hood, put vise on the back grommet, and unscrewed it.
