How Many guys from Missouri on the forum?

I'm about to buy a 71 340 with x heads, and was wondering if any Missouri guys could point me towards someone in missouri that could rebuild it for me. Not looking for a bunch of upgrades, just a reconditioning/rebuild. I want it to be as close as it can be to the original engine.

Where are you Chuck? Motor Machine in Springfield is about as good a shop as we have close. I live in an area where we have some extreme engine builders also but real pricey. Mike Pickens at Motor Machine has been doing it for a long time and really reasonable.
