mounting bracket for front valance insert 71 barracuda

While preparing to re-paint the front of my 340 engine for a car show for my 1971 Barracuda. I removed my radiator and noticed my Front valance insert is screwed to the sides of the front valance this looks proper but the three plastic tab are just floating in air not attached to anything. Looking closely I don't seem to have anything for these to mount to. Does anyone know what these mount to and am I missing a bracket?

On my 70 Cuda the three tabs hook under the lip of the front valance where it rolls over and yes, the side screws are supposed to be just as you described.

Looks like my front valance is missing these brackets so I guess I will have to fabricate a bracket to work from the bottom of the radiator opening. If I step up to re-paint then I will look into a new front valance with the proper bracing. Here is a picture of my Cuda clone

You should post a pic of what you're talking about. You're referring to the part that attaches to the lower valance under the front bumper right? There is no bracket for the tabs on that part, they hook under the lip of the front valance itself.

Okay, I see what you're referring to now. The tabs I was talking about are under the front edge of the valance insert and hook under the edge of the valance. The tabs you are talking about are at the back and yes, there should be some brackets for those to bolt to. My 70 Cuda has them and they are attached to the lower valance itself and bolt to the radiator support. I don't know if the 71 lower valance is the same but I would think it was.
