Found a July 1976 edition of the Want Ad Press.
This used to be a source for my purchases of cars and car parts for my Challengers way before the Internet. The parts section is even cooler with what is being sold!
Check out the prices on the Challengers and Chargers and other cars

I remember selling my '71 Challenger RT, 383, 4 spd, CY3 in '78 for $1500 which was bought new by me in 1970 (now I am starting to show my age). All is good now though, found it and got it back in '89 for $2800.

I remember the WAP back in the day and used to pick it up during trips to upstate NY. I have a couple of old issues as well. We purchased a couple of great cars out of NJ through the WAP including a FY1 T/A and a 440 4bbl Challenger R/T convertible, also FY1. It certainly shows they were just old cars back then.

It was a great source for USED cars back then, and they were local, all within a reasonable drive, mostly NJ and NY.
Do you have any pics of the Y1 Challengers from back in the day? Be cool to see them!

I do have many old photos from back then. I will scan them someday. I remember looking at another NJ Challenger out of the WAP. It was a hemi orange 71 383 R/T with black top, 4 speed, and the orange plaid insert seats. I still have the polaroids for that car.
