Hi Guys,
I’m looking for an oval air filter 1 3/4” tall for an air grabber or ramcharger setup.
The two filters (6 Barrel)I have measure 2.05 and too tall for the studs. My set up is now a single 4 barrel. I could modify but, I’d rather find a filter.
Thanks for any info.

I did think about that but, the two filters I have are made withe metal material over the outside of the filter.
I had never heard of a shorter filter before. Then I saw one of the old vendors with a side note. May have to-use a 1 3/4 filter.
I’ve yet to find that vendor to date.

Is it the intake and throttle body fuel injection causing the filter assembly to be too high?
A Holley Street Dominator single plan is close to factory stock height. It's an ugly intake, but doesn't really give up much horsepower or torque across the rpm range. Kind of an amazing intake after all these years. Just trying to think of other options.

You sure the center bar isn't bent down?
Someone had cut off the center bar on mine.
I found another luckily and epoxied it in. Had to tweak the height to get it right,

Thanks but, not in this situation. The base plate and lid with filter could be considered one unit. And with AAR hood there’s plenty of room. The intake or carb doesn't affect it.

I was looking at the center bar and thinking the same thing
Haven’t measured it yet but, did some light messaging on the holes. Right now I have the regular filer in and two nuts started.
Gonna let rest there for a bit.
Since I will be painting the lid for sure.

Not in this situation, the base plate, filer and lid are bolted together.
I have plenty of room with AAR hood.
Thanks

How about bolts? I used them on my '69.

An "out of the box" option might be K-frame spacers, maybe 3/8".

Thanks for the help.
On this situation. It’s just a matter of the studs on the could use a few more threads.
And with it being re-Pop, could be off a little. That 1 3/4 filet would be perfect.
I’ve messaged the holes on the lid slightly and have it together now.
Just be nice to have more than a couple of threads left.
