Sorry guys,

i recently felt in love and had to grab one of your nice Barracudas and enjoy it very much here in germany.
It's a 72 Barracuda with a 440/727 and needs some work.
I would like to know if the 70-rallye-gauges will fit in a 72 car.

Thanks for your help in advance,
regards,

Yes it will. The difference between the 70-71 and the 72-74 is where the trip reset knob is located. In 70-71 the knob exits through the woodgrain just below the gauges. In 72-74 the knob accually exits through the clear plastic lense cover.

I think 1970 also came with a higher RPM tach too but to answer your question, yes... you can physically install the 70 into your 72.

1970 gauges are worth more then the 72-74. You might be able to sell the 70 unit ,find a correct year unit and still be money ahead.
