I have a 65 Plymouth fury 383 engine. On the distrubutor where does the number 1 spark plug wire go on the distributor? Firing order helps me too. Thanks for the help

Maybe the attached diagram will help. Remove #1 spark plug (front plug on drivers side) and bump the starter while you have your finger over the spark plug hole. When you feel the pressure of the piston coming up to TDC, remove the distributor cap and see where the rotor is pointing. That will be your #1. The bottom diagram for the big block is how you want to wire your distributor cap, starting with #1. Edit: welcome to the forum!!
