transmission 46RE OR 4L80E

Already have my 392 gen3 and the terminator x max. I want to go with the 46re but i'm concerned about the tv cable making the 4l60 or 4l80 look better and better. can anyone chime in on it? keep in mind the car is rotisserie restored and the floors are painted nicely so im trying to do minimal if any cutting and welding on this thing. its truly hard enough to take the 340 and its drivetrain out as well as taking the dash out to rewire it. input would be great!

I put in my 518 when car had a 340, drove it 5yrs, then swapped in a 5.7.
Seamless swap to the Gen3 and runs great.
