Hi all. I have a 70 AAR cuda with a damaged K-member. Is this a specific k-member to this car? Can I swap it out and be correct. Noticed the tag on the front. Excuse my ignorance been restoring cars for years this is the first AAR cuda. Thanks,

I searched but found conflicting answers. All 70-74 V-8 E-body K-members will work except Hemi? Thanks.

Whats damaged on the K member? Can you repair it? Any pictures of the damage. Yes all 70-74 V-8 K-members will work but the AAR has a oval tag with a 52 on it and a date code if your doing a numbers matching Restoration

Thanks 68bee. No it's bent pretty good. The car spun down an icey bridge in 1975 frame shop pulled front rails and k-member but It's still bent and twisted. They pulled the front to get the pass side floor right It hit hard. Yes it has the tag on the K member. I'm probably nuts for fixing this thing but been doing bodywork all my life and it's savable. It's just metal. It's a challenge but I love a challenge. Guy stripped the car in 75 and stored all the parts. Not much rust at all. It's going to take front rails, aprons, K-member, radiator support and some suspension stuff.

Yes I have pictures I'm having problems getting them on to my PC for some reason. I'll get it working today. Been busy stripping the car.
