73 barracuda cowl vent grill ?

Little confused.
I have a set of cowl vent grills that came with the car.. There are holes around the outside of the grills that looked like they should be screwed into the cowl but there are no holes in the cowl... Unless the proper grills have some type of mounting them.. There are square hclose in the cowl... Any info would be appreciated thanks

70 were screw hold down only, the later screens are snap in.
So the later screens retain provisions to be used on a 70 car.

I had the opposite problem, had to trim the clips off the later screens to fit my 70

Since I have these I may go ahead and just drill the hose and use screws for mounting.

Those grills on my '73 don't like to stay put....one of them is always popping up a corner here and there....

I think that I have a decent set of the snap in cowl vent grills if you are interested. I'd let them go for a lot less than the $220 that Classic Industries is charging.
