    Will this Tremec fit?

If it's tail housing has been modified to offset the shifter to the left and back of the transmission, yes it will fit. Post a photo of the unit and I'll tell you who made it. The new TKX will fit as well with no modifications to the tail housing. See the photo below. This is my design, its...

1970 Challenger with Sniper System Fuel Siphoning from Vent

If I was a betting man, I'd say the vent valve is installed backwards. It's a check valve that only lets fluid flow in one direction. The kit refers these as a roll over valve. If the car is in an accident and on its roof, the fuel will have a restriction to not allow gas to free flow from...

    Fuel tank question

100% in backing the Tanks Inc. unit for switching to EFI. The quality is excellent and fitment is spot on. One question you need to ask yourself in regards to converting is the venting of the tank and post tank filtration to protect the EFI unit. For the venting, I went with a II Much products...

6.2 hemi drilled for 4 speed?

Interesting combination....actually my mind is blown. Will the Passon 5-Speed take the abuse of the Hellcat engine? Does anyone know the torque rating on the Passon unit?

    5 speed

If you are set on the Passon 5 speed, you may have to endure the wait. The new Tremec TKX kits on the market are very good. There is NO cutting required with these kits which is a plus. Overdrive is the best performance mod you can do to our 'ol muscle cars. Think your application all the...

5sp Manual Overdrive <$2k. Keep your Tbar Xmember!

I'm curious about the life of this transmission in your application. Being rated at 260lbft. of torque, I would imagine that the AR5 may be on the edge with a V8 application. Any photos of the shifter location inside your car. Great work by the way. This is what hot rodding is all about.

5sp Manual Overdrive <$2k. Keep your Tbar Xmember!

I'm interested in seeing this. How and why did you choose the AR5 transmission?

Any advise on my 70 Cuda rear leaf spring replacement ?

I went with Eaton +2's to level my car out in the back. The installation process is pretty straight forward but remember to replace the shackles and u-bolts at the time of re-installation. I used Hotchkis rear spring hangers (nice pieces) and new AR engineering front spring hangers from...

    LED Bulb Conversion

The EF-32 is the direct replacement for the 552 (stock) flasher. If you prefer the one with the ground wire, the part number number is EF32-RL. These are available on Amazon for no more than 12 bucks. I supply the CEC brand with my LED arrays.

    Tremec TKX

Has anyone taken delivery of the the new TKX for the E-Bodies? I know it fits the tunnel - I'm wondering about the necessity of machining the tail housing. Here is why.

Hurst Drivelines? Anyone deal with them for the 5-speed conversion?

I honestly don't know what changed in the bell housings from Quick Time. I'm almost positive that we had customers using the supplied bracketry to mount the factory z-bars. One question - Did any of you receive a bag of insert rings with your Quick Time Bell Housing. I know from Hurst's stand...

Hurst Drivelines? Anyone deal with them for the 5-speed conversion?

Hurst makes a cast small block bell housing that works perfect with the stock clutch linkage and the Ford based TKO. American Powertrain makes a cast Big Block bell housing that works. There are options. I've been involved with Hurst when they were Classic Mopar 5 Speed (started in 2006)...
