    383 4 spd clutch replacement

    E bodies should have the 130 tooth flywheel & alum belhousing , these came with 10.5" clutch for light duty & 10.95 in HD applications the 143 is fine should have the cast iron belhousing , I would use an 11" clutch on any 143 tooth flywheel . That clutch doesn't even look like it was working...

    Assuming the inlet & outlet are in the correct position it should bolt in fine & work , I agree why not use the 22"

    I love the slot mags on the older Cuda , weird tho , never recall seeing 6 slot mags like you had on the front , only 5 slot like the rear !

    most of the bolts would be 1.5 " you should be ok with a new set if you desire , Locktite also makes a green thread sealer .

    I have experimented with porting a LOT over the years but I don't have a flow bench , just time slips ! the motors I build Always run faster than they should ... Anyway you will see some gain raising the ports for sure ... my $.02 Where I have made serious gains tho & messed with people on...

    I have built lot of engines over the years I would order pushrods the way you measured them . Generally I use solid lifters rather than hydraulic .

    Nothing new , it has been the same for years , problems generally originate at the top .

    Looks right to me . I would use Smith Bros for pushrods out of Bend Or , you will have a good experience , make sure you know your spring pressures so they can build them correctly for the load .
