If Leo didn’t make the point clear enough, don’t actually start working on the car before it has a legitimate vin attached to it.

I had some broken clips replaced in my original boot and it takes some effort to get them to clip.

I don’t think it is conclusive enough to be considered a fact beyond a shadow of doubt.

Here’s the thing though…yes there was a guy/gal responsible for applying the stamping but the engine and trans were done as an assembly in a space where they were already assembled so the stamps were done one right after the other. Then the assembly moved by inspectors making sure all was good...

Don’t get me wrong, I love them all but but after 50+ years of looking at these cars with the high impact colors I think I’d love to own a white over tan cream puff of a Barracuda just like this one minus the 440 callouts.

I got the assemblies second hand so no. About to buy everything else from inline tube. I’m going to rebuild the rears, check all of the lines and obviously add the proportioning valve, hold off valve and new master.
