As long as you have enough air volume you can bring down the psi and then add a soft media and you'll keep the texture.

I've been jamming on James' car and certainly establishing my own E body methods and procedures for when i get to mine. I won't be repairing many panels especially if new ones are available!

This is how an E Body should be media blasted folks, really, you need to have your car done this way -- it's the only way to render these cars complete and have a good starting point.

If you're not having the car media blasted, you are throwing good money away and you will not have a quality car, I promise you this.

If you did it all yourself the complete product would be sub-par. Farm this or that task out to experts. I tell everyone that's the way to do it. Like when Joe Blow decides to do his own upholstery...like LOL!! I've been working next to the best trim shop for the last 11 yrs and I now know...
