    Donny's 1970 Challenger

It's been a LONG time since I was here populating my thread. For like the last 3 years I have done nothing to my car. The last month or two got back busy on it, cut off all the crappy metal, put it in my just made rotisserie for the E body car. I just blasted it, going to put it in primer...

    Donny's 1970 Challenger

Rarely do I ever spread body filler, but, today I pulled my Doors back out of storage to apply filler to the lower sections over the repairs rendered. Reason was I'm doing another 69 Camaro and I finished up widening the drivers side qtr panel IAW owners wishes. BTW there is not much 'room' for...

    My T/A restoration...

This thread, and this car is exceptional! The detail is OCD and that's what is required! My hand salutes this level of attentiveness. Sadly, all I see on these cars is them in their raw form, and then freshly media blasted then off they go. The exception is James' 1970 Challenger which I'm...

As long as you have enough air volume you can bring down the psi and then add a soft media and you'll keep the texture.

I've been jamming on James' car and certainly establishing my own E body methods and procedures for when i get to mine. I won't be repairing many panels especially if new ones are available!

    73 'Cuda restoration

This is how an E Body should be media blasted folks, really, you need to have your car done this way -- it's the only way to render these cars complete and have a good starting point.

70 Challenger Restoration, into a driver car

If you're not having the car media blasted, you are throwing good money away and you will not have a quality car, I promise you this.

Getting ready to start 72 Challenger project

If you did it all yourself the complete product would be sub-par. Farm this or that task out to experts. I tell everyone that's the way to do it. Like when Joe Blow decides to do his own upholstery...like LOL!! I've been working next to the best trim shop for the last 11 yrs and I now know...

    WTB 1970 CHALLENGER NOS PARTS

NOS? Good luck! in 1980 Chrysler scrapped all their NOS stuff in structuring the govt loan bailout and their corporate focus on the K Car.

    Roof Rot?

I always media blast the inner structures on these multi tiered jobs; the initial media blast makes the roof skin worthless - not from the blasting process but the process finds the rot and decay. Customer then hires me to do the metalwork, cancerous metal removed and then second blast then...
